About Nina Gaul 

Welcome, my name is Nina and I am a Contemporary Psychotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Personal Trainer. I run a private psychotherapy practice in Sandwich as well as working as a Wellbeing Consultant for local businesses and as a Psychoeducation Lead at Self Space.

I hold a BSc Psychology, Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Contemporary Psychotherapy and a PGCE. I originally worked as a Primary School Teacher, whilst teaching I qualified as a Personal Trainer and then went onto to become a UKCP Accredited Contemporary Psychotherapist.

As a Contemporary Psychotherapist I use concepts, strategies and interventions from a range of therapeutic orientations ensuring that the sessions are supporting you in the best way they can. I have a warm and positive approach to therapy and truly believe that therapy is about working together to help you navigate the cause of your challenges, learn how to acknowledge and meet your immediate needs and understand how to proactively support your future wellbeing.

I am interested in working with both the mind and the body and use both as a tool in your therapeutic journey to bring understanding and relief; our somatic body has great wisdom and knowledge when we know how to listen to it and work with it. I work with neuro-linguistics, which is the understanding of how thinking, feeling, language and patterns of behaviour relate to specific outcomes and use this to help you learn the language of your own mind in order to achieve your potential. 

Our sessions will provide you with a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space to pause, reflect, understand and learn how to grow. I will guide you through a journey to help you discover a deeper sense of self and how to get the most out of life. I am really passionate about supporting your wellbeing and encourage the self-awareness that we need to live meaningfully and consciously and aim to equip you with a 'toolkit' to be able to deal with not just today, but every day.
