The average person will spend 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime therefore our job’s can make a huge impact on our quality of life. 

I am passionate about making our time at work fulfilling, enjoyable and effective for both employee and employer. Staff with good mental health are more likely to perform well, have good attendance levels and be engaged in their work. 

The estimated cost of mental ill health to UK employers each year is between £33 billion and £42 billion. 

It is, therefore, in an employer’s interests to:

- Improve mental health awareness in the organisation

- Tackle the causes of work-related mental ill health

- Create a workplace culture where staff are able to talk about their mental health

- Support staff who are experiencing mental ill health
