Can we improve our happiness?
Psychologist Sonja lyubomirsky suggest that only 50% of our happiness is determined by factors like our genes or temperament. The other half is determined by a combination of our circumstances, which we may have little control over and our attitudes and actions, which we have a large amount of control over 😊

The three factors that have the greatest influence on increasing our happiness are;
- Our ability to reframe our situation more positively
- Our ability to experience gratitude
- Our choice to be kind and generous
Three things that you can do:
- Imagine that you are looking on at your situation - could it be seen in a different way? Is there an alternative way to think?
- Start a gratitude diary; each morning when you wake up write down 3 things that you are grateful for, try not to think too hard about this, just write down whatever comes into your mind
- What act of kindness can you complete today? Take some time to think about how it made you feel
